欧洲足联(UEFA) recently announced the schedule for the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League. The tournament is set to kick off on September 6, 2022, and will run until May 31, 2023.
The group stage will feature 32 teams, with eight groups of four teams each. Each team will play six matches in the group stage, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout phase. The group stage matches are scheduled to take place between September 6 and November 30, 2022.
The knockout phase will consist of a round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and the final match. The first legs of the round of 16 matches are set to take place on February 14-15, 2023, with the second legs scheduled for February 21-22, 2023.
The quarterfinals will be played on March 7-8, 2023, and the semifinals will take place on April 11-12, 2023. The final match of the tournament is set to take place on May 31, 2023.
As always, the UEFA Champions League will feature some of the biggest names in European football, including defending champions Real Madrid and perennial powerhouses Manchester City, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona.
